‘My wife struggled with labor pain in the birth of our first child. The midwife suggested she have an epidural so she could rest. Then our baby’s heart beat showed distressed and we had a cesarean. I don’t know whether the epidural caused a problem or not but what was done was done. We used The Pink Kit Package in our next birth so my wife could cope better with the pain’. The difference in this birth is that I could actually help her which I didn’t know how to last time.’

In the very first section of the very first resource in The Pink Kit Package, I realized how much I had hindered the birth process. I HAD to learn how to let go of my inner tension, work with my baby’s efforts rather than fight the pain and be willing to get on with labor no matter how much I hated it.’

  • No one wants to see a woman suffer from childbirth pain so pain relief is used, more interventions occur and everyone wants ‘birth’ to be over.

‘I absolutely know the cesarean I had with my first baby was unnecessary. I gave up and gave in. I used The Pink Kit Package to prepare for a VBAC. In an ultrasound the doctor discovered our son had a major heart problem so we elected to have an cesarean but this time I used my skills and actually felt I had a more natural birth than with my daughter. That’s weird isn’t it?
