Birthing Better Affiliate

For those who don’t know us well, we do have an affiliate program for anyone who wants to join us to grow a skilled birthing population for all families and every birth. Birthing Better affiliate registration

BTW … you don’t need to have a website. You get a unique URL that you can post anywhere or give directly to people for us. You do need a Paypal account.

We recently received an affiliate registration. I always personally contact each affiliate and chat about our goals and how they can inspire their clients and others to self-learn Birthing Better skills. I also ask how they have heard about Birthing Better because the Internet is huge and we are not as well known as other birth methods.

This person sent me a wonderfully interesting response about finding us.

“I saw “the pink kit” mentioned in Sarah Buckley’s Gentle Birth, Gentle Mothering, and even though it was just a mention it drew my attention and to be honest I thought the name “the pink kit” was rather odd 🙂 Of course I then Googled “the pink kit”, was a little confused when I arrived at the website, it was the page that is dominated by the video of Scott Practice – I wondered who the heck are these people and what is Common Knowledge???? but I watched and liked what he had to say so continued to snoop around and whaaalaaa I love what Common Knowledge is about and the availability of skills for birthing was exacting what I want to share with my clients!!! I had already been comparing birth to a marathon when talking with them but wasn’t at all clear on how to help them prepare or even exactly what skills would be most helpful.”

What a laugh! Common Knowledge Trust went online with our 1st edition (VHS, book and cassette) in 2000! The box of this hard-copy was pink and we became known as The Pink Kit. Families LOVED the name. ‘We had a Pink Kit baby’ or ‘We had a Pink Kit birth’. Friends and relatives would ask: ‘What’s a Pink Kit? ‘ Response … ‘It’s about birthing better’. Better term for people searching on the Web … people think ‘birth’ more than ‘pink’.

She was determined to track down who we are and what we do. The video she refers to is a man talking about practicing the Birthing Better/Pink Kit skills with her partner. It’s a great video and can be found on our YouTube channel  https://www.youtube.com/user/BirthingBetter1
Great story. We love hearing from everyone.

Birthing Better skills were developed by moms and dads in the early 1970s in the US and used by many thousands globally in all types of birth. Birthing Better online birthing classes are housed in Common Knowledge Trust.
