Who And What

CAVEAT #1: When hundreds of fathers and mothers developed all the Birthing Better skills in the early 1970s in the US, many of us had home births (for either philosophical or religious reasons). There were ‘no’ legal midwives so we developed skills to reduce and prevent ‘risks’ from becoming ‘problems’ as well as ‘suffering’. We didn’t want to transfer to a hospital and if we did we wanted the very best skills to still work through the activity of birthing our baby.

CAVEAT #2: We were ABSOLUTELY committed to supporting the dedicated and wonderful women and men who worked as ‘midwives’. They give unselfish and time-less care to home birthing families in ‘partnership’. In their role as ‘partners’, they have become highly skilled to safeguard the health and wellbeing of our baby and self. In our role as ‘partners’, it’s essential we self-learn birth and birth-coaching skills in our two roles as birthing women and birth-coaching dad/other in order to safeguard the health and well-being of ourselves and baby as well as reduce ‘suffering’ .w.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
