National Childbirth Trust (NCT) Tutor Personal Review

‘I thought the whole kit was a brilliant idea to give women so much information about their bodies and how to work more effectively with their bodies in labor. I know many of our teachers would find it useful. I liked the way it was all set out so that you could mix and match, dip and dive into whichever section you needed to explore. The clear color coding made it easy to follow and there were some really good ideas for opening out the pelvis that were new to me and I would like to see more of our antenatal teachers know about that. The descriptions of the bony and soft pelvis were particularly clear and made me think I don’t do enough about that aspect in my classes.
I liked the whole philosophy of the book– raising self awareness and developing confidence and empowering women and provided such a gentle, relaxed approach to labor and birth so different from the many media images that are fed to people almost daily. I would like to see these aspects of labor widely discussed by practicing midwives and those in training too and for incorporation into antenatal classes and used in labor.'( NCT tutor, UK)

‘I not only previewed it, I have sent previews to two birth publications about your kit and have sold one. My midwife is reviewing my kit and I am dying to hear her comments too! It is incredible. I have learned a lot and though I haven’t listened to the cassette yet (my player isn’t working), I plan to tomorrow when I visit my sister who I want to preview it as well. I am in awe of your incredible work and want to tell the world about the knowledge in your kit! I am going to pick your brain about it shortly. Awesome information.
