Your Skills-based Birth Plan tells your birth professional what skills you and your birth-coach will use as you work through the activity of birthing your baby.
Here’s why your Skills-based Birth Plan is so important. Your choices might change or not be available. However, you will do the activity of birthing your baby no matter where birth unfolds, who is present, your beliefs/circumstances, your choices, lack of choices or change of choices, or what happens to or around you.
That’s a long-winded way of saying … You have to do the activity of birthing your baby. ‘Choose’ to become skilled.
