On our Face Book page there was this comment after BOO/YEH #4.
‘The good thing is the Pink Kit can be used for more than one birth. My first Daughter was 22 hour labor ending in a C.section (without the pink kit) my second Daughter was 6 hours ending in a VBAC using the Pink Kit. 20 week pregnant now, and getting out the Pink kit again soon. The great thing about the Pink Kit is it includes the birthing partner!’
This comment really addresses the BOOs and the YEHs on this post.
BOO #5 …. I don’t want to read the ebooks on a computer.
The above family made a choice about how to read the ebooks. They either read each short ebook either on their computer or mobile devise or they printed off the ones they wanted. The longest ebook is 44 pages and most run about 20. This is not hard work and it saves you money that we aren’t passing on the cost of printing to you besides the shipping costs are higher when there’s more weight.
When people say they don’t like to read on the computer, we understand. We made a choice to make the resource less expensive (and even less expensive if you purchase a digital download) rather than print off the chapters as a book.
Then again, having ebooks permits you to pick and choose and not read from front to back or feel you’re skipping over stuff.
YEH #5 …We discovered true, practical skills that adapted and adjusted to our birth as it unfolded.
The above comment tells you what you need to know about what we’re claiming about The Pink Kit. We can talk a blue streak but when others (who we don’t know) tell you their experience then please listen! And do something about what you’re hearing (actually reading) what this woman said … The Pink Kit skills work and include the partner.
Join us. We so desperately need more families becoming skilled. It’s only together we can change childbirth and build a Movement for a Skills-based approach to all pregnancies and every birth.
Here’s a link. This link will be put on the following posts. Kristen has 6 kids, the last 3 are PK babies. She KNOWS about birth and is one of our affiliates. That means if you purchase The Pink Kit through her she gets a commission.
She’s written a time-line calendar for use of The Pink Kit. You just need to sign up to her mail list (we don’t keep a mail list) and she’ll send you the Time Line. She’s worked through both Edition #2 and #3 of The PInk Kit so she knows all it’s imperfections and la-dee-dahs past them to the skills she wants to improve for each birth. Can women and men have better births each time? Sure can! The more skilled, the more we master the experience.
