What do you read or hear about childbirth? Do you feel everyone is basically arguing about the best or worse place to birth or what type of birth is the safest and best for mother and baby? You’re right. Everyone is arguing! We want to soothe your overwhelmed brain, ease your strong philosophical viewpoints, shift how you are approaching this birth and how to heal a past birth trauma. How are we at Common Knowledge Trust going to install a whole new concept into the present childbirth conversations?

Here’s an info-graphic that addresses this complexity. What will you learn? It’s so simple it’s unbelievable that this idea is not just common knowledge (oops, that’s the name of our Trust … go figure that we use this phrase!) … we need to have a societal expectation that you, your friends and family need to become skilled to birth our babies.

Whether we birth in hospital birth, homebirth, Birth Center, car, in the woods or on the plane we still will be doing that activity. Be skilled. Whether we have a natural birth or with lots of medical ‘interventions’ we still have to fill the Time between the beginning and end of The Birth.
